Once again, you have inspired me, Harvey. Wow! Can a blog really be that simple? I may start May 1st.

It would be “Anxiety” producing which is why I came off social media so I will need to noodle it around in my conscious mind for the day…..thank you for the spark :)

You're very welcome. And it isn't at all like the rabbit hole (I'm being kind) of social media. :-)

Definitely so much happier I don’t fall down rabbit holes anymore, but also of being “attached” to the reactions after posting. I hate the feeling of “wanting to be liked.”

I can give it a month’s try and see how it makes me feel. If worse, I will stop. If invigorated, then I will continue.

Question: Writing daily is your message….what does posting it daily do for you personally?

Honestly? Apart from giving me a place to report my numbers, it gives me a routine, almost a ritual. It also makes me feel good that I can pass along information on writing that might help other writers.

You are definitely helping others, so thank you for the “honest” response and all that you do for us newbies. :)

I use my own domain name with wordpress(.org) and I consider start a substack blog as well. I've started posting weekly, but unfortunately the streak broke. Now I'm powering up to restart.

Thanks for the tips. :-)

Yes, using your own name is an excellent idea. I shoud've mentioned that. Makes it easier for people to find you and tie into your name as a writer.
